Anne Marie Fraley is currently a painter who uses oils, watercolor and acrylics. She also is a jewelry maker. Anne Marie loves to try her hand in different mediums. She feels it keeps her artwork alive and evolving. Anne Marie's art work expresses her spirituality and its connection to the environment. Her work reflects a spiritual bond to the female deity and its tie to nature. Anne Marie also uses art as an outlet for her political views. She believes the creative spirit is an important tool of expression and it can open the doors to communication, confidence and self actualization.
Anne Marie is the owner and operator of a small art business called White Pine Studio. In White Pine Studio she sells her art work, jewelry, reproductions of her art in the form of greeting cards as well as gives art classes. Anne Marie's work has been sold and displayed in various venues in Albany, Saratoga, Schoharie, East Berne, Rensselaerville, Woodstock, Schenectady and throughout the Capital Region.
Anne Marie holds a Masters Degree General Education Studies, with a minor in Art from The University at Albany, a Bachelors Degree in Art Education from The College of Saint Rose, and an Associate in Arts from Schenectady Community College Anne Marie is a NYS Certified Art Teacher and has taught in all mediums in grades K-12. She has a particular passion for working with at risk youth in the Capital Region.
