Artist Bio + |
Art in many forms is my main reason for rising in the morning. At age fifty four, I'm a senior in the Fine Arts Dpt. at the University at Albany. I've attended a class at the FAWC in Provincetown, Ma. and I'm currently attending a class at the Art Center in Troy, NY.
I'm an oil painter, but I have worked in acrylics and watercolors.
My priority for each work is to fill the space with life and energy. My style has been referred to as "organic". I use the transitions in color, as well as the interplay of forms to create a rhythmic flow through the composition. I paint thickly, with no thinners to achieve a lustrous swirling mass of rich, jewel-like elements combined into a joyful dance. for more info...email me @.........barbaraklemz@verizon.net
