Artist Bio +

Joleen Button Joleen Button is an upstate New York artist whos curiosity is communicated through forms of art. She creates contemporary oil paintings with an old world quality of succulent fruits and exotic animals, such as peacocks, persians cats, and primates. Button is inspired by peculiarities of life, such as existence and the passage of time, beauties of nature and human desire. Her style stems from her studies at The Sage Colleges in Albany, NY and Parson's School of Design in Paris, France. Joleen is currently an exhibiting Fine Artist and Fashion Designer and she teaches graphic design at a Digital Media Arts Colllege in Albany, NY.

Most recently, Joleen won 1st Place in Art on Lark's annual fashion show competition, Project LarkWAY 2009.
