Art has been a part of my life, in one form or another, for as long as I can remember. It has been a source of pure joy, and an outlet for strong emotion. I sometimes think of it as the moon waning and waxing, but always regenerating within me, my world, and my connection to humanity. I went to school for printmaking, but lately I mostly draw using charcoal and pastels, and make jewelry. Although art is not my full time job, it is a lifetime commitment. The most influential artists in my life have been Bill Flick, Patti Smith and Louise Bourgeois.
